Eligibility Criteria for a .int Domain

Register or Modify a .int Domain

The .int domain is a specialized domain offering no-cost registrations solely to:

specialized agencies of the United Nations (UN);

organizations that have been granted observer status at the UN General Assembly; and

organizations that were established by an international treaty between or among national governments, are widely considered to have independent international legal personality, and are subject of and governed by international law.

Applicants for new .int domain registrations should carefully read the eligibility criteria prior to applying for a domain to ensure they qualify, and have the necessary documentation to demonstrate eligibility.

These domains are strictly limited to eligible intergovernmental treaty organizations in accordance with our published criteria.

Eligible organizations may apply for a new .int domain, and existing registrants can update their registry details.
